After today’s announcement, the Liverpool-based developer, Firesprite, has officially become the 14th studio under the PlayStation banner.
Firesprite is a creative and ambitious studio that is known for the PlayStation exclusives, The Playroom and The Playroom VR. They are known for creating amazing experiences that truly showcase the potential of the PlayStation hardware.
Graeme Ankers, the MD of Firesprite, stated they are “very much looking forward to the next part of our journey” with PlayStation.
PlayStation also gave us the opportunity to create our own IP, The Persistence, and we were given the creative freedom to explore, innovate, and release a survival horror game we are immensely proud of. Now, as a first party studio, we know we have the full support of PlayStation in furthering our heritage of combining creativity and technical innovation to offer some truly unique experiences for PlayStation fans.
