Castle Morihisa - Feature Image

Developer Smokingbear Studio has announced that their fantastical feudal Japan-based deck builder, Castle Morihisa, will be coming to PC and Switch this February.

Castle Morihisa is the debut title from indie developers Smokingbear Studio and is being published by veteran publisher Thermite Games. Following in the footsteps of the seminal deckbuilding games that have come before it, it hopes its unique setting and plethora of playable cards will entice a brand new audience. The game’s producer Zhenghang Cai spoke about blending two genres at once and the experience players should expect to have.

Castle Morihisa’s hundreds of cards, unique character-specific abilities, and folklore-inspired world combine for a delightfully challenged and utterly rewarding experience […] By blending both deckbuilding systems and roguelike design elements, we believe players will be eagerly awaiting their chance to march toward Castle Morihisa on Nintendo Switch and PC on February 10!
