Edge Of Eternity PlayStation Physical Edition Announced

Indie developer Midgar Studio and Just For Games have announced that a physical edition of the critically acclaimed JRPG Edge of Eternity will release this February.

Edge of Eternity launched out of Early Access back in June 2021 after years of consistent updates and changes. After its successful release, it was announced that in February 2022 it would launch on PlayStation 4 and 5 digitally. The console edition is set to bring with it the plethora of changes seen in the PC version. Additionally, it will also come packaged with the long-requested Japanese voice option. Fortunately, for fans of the physical, it has since been announced that Edge of Eternity will be launching physically on the same day as the digital release.

The Physical Edition

The physical edition is being co-published and distributed in collaboration with Just For Games. They’re a renowned veteran French distributor and publisher who have worked with the likes of Team17, Merge Games, 505 Games and even Epic Games. Unfortunately, the physical edition is set to only be distributed in Europe. However, anyone who purchases the PlayStation 4 version will be able to upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version for free.
