Dude, Where is my Beer? is going on a 20% off sale this week to celebrate winning the Nordic Game Discovery Contest.
This week, through to Sunday March 14, Dude, Where is my Beer? will be 20% off on Steam. So, if you haven’t picked it up, we highly recommend doing so, as well as most of the Steam reviews. It currently has a 94% positive rating on Steam, where most people have praised the game’s classic feel. We were fortunate enough to review the game when it was first released, and it became one of our favorite indie games of 2020.
To back up this claim, the game recently won the Nordic Game Discovery Contest and will now represent Norway in the main competition this November in Malmö, Sweden. You can read all about the competition on the Nordic Game website. But this should be all the convincing you need to pick the game up while it is on special.

What is Dude, Where is my Beer?
Developed by Arik Zurabian and Edo Brenes, Dude, Where Is My Beer? is a point and click game filled with pop-culture references and beer. The journey begins on a long bus trip with a man who has been granted a 30-minute rest stop. He is after a beer, but not just any beer, a Pilsner. A beer many would think would be absolutely everywhere, but that is not the case. Instead, you embark on a 4-5 hour journey that features:
- An intriguing narrative.
- A lot of humour and hilarious references.
- Brutal difficulty that requires “out of the box” thinking.
- Old-school point and click mechanics.
- A wonderful art design.
- Lots of beer!
