The spiritual successor to the famous Left 4 Dead series, Back 4 Blood, just launched yesterday and has already been beaten by a speedrunner in one hour and forty-three minutes.
The YouTuber Maxlobes had early access to the four-player cooperative zombie shooting game and spent that time to find the best strategies to speed run it. The humble YouTuber claims that his run wasn’t optimal but was still pretty good. It won’t be long until we see him or another speedrunner complete the game in under one hour and thirty minutes.
Back 4 Blood Current Rating
Back 4 Blood currently sits at 79% critic score on Metacritic and 78% critic score on OpenCritic. The game preserves most of what fans adored from the Left 4 Dead franchise but was criticised for its poor solo play progression. Nonetheless, it serves as a good time for you and a group of friends to shoot up some zombies.
Back 4 Blood is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X. It is also available on Xbox Game Pass for consoles and PC as well.
